Lucerne, Switzerland
Low and behold, here comes to the end of my Europe 2012 post! Yes, our last stop was at Lucerne, Switzerland. It was our last day in Switzerland before we headed back to Singapore the next day. Being left with only a day at Switzerland, we didn't have much to do. So we decided to take their public transport ferry through lake lucerne. Lake lucerne has a complicated shape, with bends and arms reaching from the city of Lucerne into the mountains. It was pretty interesting yet a really long ride.
After which, we visited the most famous attraction which is the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke), a 204 m (669 ft) long wooden covered bridge originally built in 1333, which is also the oldest covered bridge in Europe. Inside the bridge were a series of paintings from the 17th century depicting events from Lucerne's history.
Like I said, we didn't have much to do with only a day left. So that's about it for my last day in Switzerland and here comes to the end my Europe 2012 Trip! Next up will be my Kuala Lumpur Trip with my girls! Stay tune!
