Who wants to see snow during summer? I surely do! Yes, that was our main purpose for going up to Zermatt actually. Zermatt is famed as a mountaineering and ski resort of the Swiss Alps. They are the only place that have all year round of Skiing, even during summer!! How cool is that? To be honest, I haven't seen or touch any snow in my entire life. The year before in 2011, my main purpose for traveling to Europe during winter was to see snow but, I missed it by a week. So this time round, I paid a bomb just to experience some snow during summer!

There again, it was pretty much troublesome for us. We had to wake up really early because, we could only head up to Matterhorn early in the morning to see snow as by noon, all the snow would have melt by then. Tickets up was kind of expensive. Paid nearly to S$200 each for the cable car tickets. And to head up to Matterhorn, we had to change again from Furi station, ride up was about 45minutes or so.

And yes, as you can see from the pictures above! We made new friends on our way up and we decided to stay and play as a group! It was pretty amazing to touch snow for the first time and of course, I needed to make my first snowman too! Come to think about it, it was actually quite worth it to pay such an amount up to Zermatt and Matterhorn because, I wouldn't be able to experience such stuff in Singapore and this happens only once in a life time.
